How I work
Most of my work lives at the seam between research and production — the place where a clever paper has to turn into a reliable service, handled by a small team that’s already stretched thin.
I’ve been at Amazon since 2015, from one of the first engineers on Amazon.in Fashion to managing engineers at AWS. I lead by writing, reviewing carefully, and defending the team’s ability to say “not yet.”
Outside work I build and run two AI products, Clarity Today and RetailIntel.

Career
Eleven years at Amazon, from engineer to manager. I joined Amazon.in in 2015 as one of the first engineers on Fashion, built search and offer platforms behind its product pages, led the launch of language understanding for Amazon Music on Alexa, and led the Music team that detects fraud and policy violations in the catalog. Since July 2022 I’ve managed engineers at AWS.
